Toronto Union Station flood shuts down city's main transport hub

UPDATE: Union Station has been reopened

Part of one of Toronto's key transportation hubs was shut down Friday as Union Station was flooded with “foul water” described as a cross between rainwater and sewage.

Several subway stations were shut down as cleanup began. Full subway service was not expected to resume before the afternoon commuter rush. Via Rail and GO train services, which also operate out of Union Station, were not effected.
