TRENTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) - A Bergen County lawmaker is being accused of breaking the law.
Assemblyman Bob Schroeder, 52, who lives in Washington Township and whose office is in Woodcliff Lake, has been arrested for allegedly writing bad checks worth close to $400,000.
Attorney General Jeffrey Chiesa said it is a serious charge against the Republican legislator.
