Mayor Rob Ford remained quiet Monday about his impending day in court in a $6-million defamation lawsuit launched by a restaurant owner in the Beach, but allies lashed out at what they think is behind the case.
“It’s so political, it’s ridiculous,” said Councillor Doug Ford about a suit that dates back to the 2010 mayoral campaign and vague allegations then-candidate Rob Ford made about corruption at city hall.
