Bay and Adelaide intersection closed during rush hour after panel of glass falls from Trump Tower

Falling glass from high atop the Trump Tower prompted police to block traffic from the intersection of Bay and Adelaide at rush hour Wednesday.

Const. Tony Vella says several cars were damaged but no injuries reported after glass fell from the building at about 4:10 p.m. Trump International Hotel and Tower Toronto spokeswoman Dorenda McNeil says a glass panel from the 34th floor fell during construction work.
