LONDON, Ont. -- The mayor of London, Ont., who is facing criminal charges in a fraud investigation stemming from his time as a federal cabinet minister, says he will remain in office.
Joe Fontana was charged Wednesday with fraud under $5,000, breach of trust by a public official and uttering forged documents.
Fontana told reporters in London today that he's innocent and intends to fight to clear his name.
