Long lines for booze as Ontario drinkers face possible long-weekend LCBO strike

When does the strike start?

If a deal can’t be reached, workers could hit the picket line by midnight Thursday.

What will close?

All LCBO locations will be affected, with the exception of some locally-owned agency stories.

Where can you still get booze?

You can still hit up the local Wine Rack and beer stores on your block. Breweries such as the Great Lakes Brewery ensure you won’t need to rely on the LCBO for local lagers. If you’re more of a whisky-type, you can make the trek out to Concord to hit up the Still Waters Distillery.
