You’ve probably been wondering what fervent devotees of last year’s Occupy movement have been doing with themselves, since authorities in several countries required them to take down their tents and depart from municipal parks and other public property.
They were a pretty fervent group, while they lasted, determined to overthrow the ruling elite, the existing power structure, and anyone they identified as having an unfair advantage on themselves. Then they just kind of disappeared: without tents in the park, they didn’t seem able to channel their anger into any sort of effective effort to bring about change. (Even in the parks they weren’t very effective, to be honest, but at least they had somewhere to go, and companionship of a sort).
