Jim Brown Named Special Advisor To Browns

CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – Jim Brown is back with the Cleveland Browns.

The Hall of Fame running back and face of the franchise for decades has returned to the team, which he helped lead to it’s last championship in 1964, as a special adviser.

“I’m very happy to be back,” Brown said. “I have a great respect for this city, a great respect for the way the fans have treated me. I have been though many ups and downs here, but the fans have always come to my support.”

Flanked by owner Jimmy Haslam Wednesday morning at FirstEnergy Stadium in the interview room just outside the Browns locker room, Brown said that he will work in a variety of capacities with the team in the community as well as with current and former players.
