Top 5 real-life tech geniuses in films: From Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network to Julian Assange in The Fifth Estate

After the success of  2010’s The Social Network, this year sees two more films chronicling the lives of real-life tech geniuses. Jobs tells the story of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, with Ashton Kutcher playing the late entrepreneur. The Fifth Estate sees Benedict Cumberbatch take on the role of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, and comes at a time when the whistleblowing organisation is back in the news following Edward Snowden’s surveillance revelations.

Julian Assange started out as a hacker as a teenager, later becoming a computer programmer before founding information-sharing organisation WikiLeaks in 2006.
