FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) — A charter bus carrying TCU students to tonight’s games at AT&T Stadium was involved in a minor accident on Saturday, injuring three.
The three students were transported to local hospitals for further evaluation, though none of the injuries appear to be life threatening.
The accident occurred just after 3 p.m. The bus driver says he swerved to avoid a car that stopped in front of him and struck a pole.
“I’m okay,” said the driver. “I just feel bad about the accident.”
TCU faces off against LSU tonight in the season opener at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – The Cleveland Browns reduced their roster to 53 Saturday with a few surprises.
Receiver David Nelson and linebacker James-Michael Johnson were cut and the contract of kicker Shayne Graham was terminated.

“We haven’t closed the door completely on the kickers that we had, we’ll have…

The players waived Saturday: Anthony Armstrong, Tim Benford, Demetress Bell, Xavier Brewer, Danny Coale, Edawn Coughman, Ray Dominguez, Thaddeus Gibson, Jabari Fletcher, Jakar Hamilton, Kevin Kowalski, Cameron Lawrence, Kendial Lawrence, Jerome Long, Caleb McSurdy, Brandon Magee, Sterling Moore, Micah Pellerin, Tank Reed, Alex Tanney and Jason Vega.
The Cowboys also moved safety Matt Johnson to IR and shaved special-teams ace Danny McCray’s salary in half from about $1.3 million.
The moves leave the Cowboys thin at cornerback (where they only have four) and leaves room for the possibility of re-acquiring some of the above players…
